A celebration of Joyce Thompson's life

THOMPSON, Joyce

Peacefully on Friday 26th April 2024 at Eden Valley Hospice, with her family by her side, Joyce aged 91 years. Beloved wife of John, dearly loved mum of Lorraine, Stephen and Dawn, mother-in-law of David and Alan, and a cherished grandma and great grandma. Joyce will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. A private cremation will take place, followed by a Service of Love and Thanksgiving at St John's Church, Houghton on Friday 10th May at 2:30pm. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Joyce will be in aid of Eden Valley Hospice and the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB). Thoughts

Thank you so much to everyone who donated so generously in memory of Joyce Thompson. The funds received will help RNIB to continue to be there for anyone affected by sight loss, such as through our Eye Care Liaison Officer service. Last year we provided emotional and practical support from the moment of diagnosis to over 60,000 blind and partially sighted people, helping them to face the future with confidence. Thank you all again for your kind support.
